1. Why is the church named Nea Zoe Mill Plain?
Nea Zoe Church was originally established as New Life Church of CT. To distinguish ourselves from other New Life Churches in CT, we translated New Life into Greek. (Greek is the original language of the New Testament.). Hence the name "Nea Zoe". Then in 2023, we joined together with Mill Plain Union Church to form Nea Zoe Mill Plain Church
2. Are you a Greek church?
While our name is Greek, we are not a Greek church.
3. Are you a bilingual church?
Our services are currently in English, but are praying for a Spanish service in the future.
4. Where are you located?
We are located on the east end of Waterbury, at 242 Southmayd Rd. The crossroad is Homestead Avenue.
5. What is your denomination?
We consider ourselves to be non-denominational, with congregational roots.
6. What does non-denominational mean?
Non-denominational means that as a church, we do not hold to specific denominational doctrine. Our focus is on the word of God in its entirety.
7. What time does your service start?
Worship begins at 10:00 am.
8. Do you have a children's ministry?
Yes.
10. Do you have a youth ministry?
Yes, our youth ministry is called converge. It is for ages 13 - 25 years old.
11. Do you have bible study classes?
Yes, every Thursday from 8:00p-9:00p via Zoom. We will be posting online courses in the future.
12. Do you have any family activities?
Yes! Please check out our calendar of events as we update it with fun family events throughout the year.
